May she rest in peace.
That's why I am a bit hesitant to flash the GPUs.

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is. That's my motto :)
How did you bust your card trying to flash someone elses? (EDIT nm you posted while I was typing :p)
You can pick up PCI video cards pretty cheap in the event you get a card with a bad flash...I have never tried a blind flash before. Although have flashed cards when the screen was barbled, was still sorta able to see what was going on.

I've only flashed two GPUs.
I am afraid to try to flash them back to stock LOL. :ash1:

i reflashed my card and confirmed the code in it was exactly the same so my card was never changed, she just gave up.... i dont get it, but she is getting super hot and artifacting even during post it gets sso hot it will burn your fingers.
Not to mention i have flashed more cards than i can count, and NEVER had a issue, maybe karma just caught up...
but neuromancer i did reflash to teh same stock bios for that card and it did nothing

I recon they are like light bulbs...the brighter they glow the faster they burn out! I cook enough stuff the way it is.....

I recently had a bad flash on my 4870x2 installing the top bios. Had to flash a second time to the top bios and all was. I like the stock OC'd bios that came with my cards better than the top bios. Hope you can RMA the card.

I tried the Top bios on mine and they just didn't want to work. They booted fine and all but the second I started a bench I couldn't even tell what was on the screen... so I went back to stock.
