Hi friends,

after long period of Overclocking inactivity due to moving from my parents house to my own, i finally have the conditions to do a little of extreme overclocking again. I have set up my work table and extra table just for oveclocking/benching. (see attachement :D)

I have also got some interesting Hardware including ATI 4670 AGP wich is the fastest AGP card... an also Asrock 4Core Dual iwch is the fastest motherboard platform for any AGP card... Also some AMD 754 processors and i got lucky picking up an Opteron 175 wich is a dualcore 939 processor... Time to dust off my old DFI boards :D HW bot here i come :D

Also i have one question for you experienced clockers... does monitor size have an effect on scores ? I have an old LCD 15" layin around and honestly i dont need any larger monitor for benching that just takes up unnecessary space...

Heya Josifek,

Welcome back to OCA :)

You have some very interesting hardware to bench. I think the monitor size only matters if you can't reach the required resolution for each different benchmark to run normally. I'm not sure how much of an impact running a 1280x800 resolution on a 2560x1600 screen would be.

Looks like you have some fun ahead!

Well i used to bench on 19" CRT monitor, i dont have anything larger at home :D

Yes i modestly plan to take all socket A world records for PCmark with this card, we will see what i can do :D

BTW does anyone know about some 754 Mobo with PCIe slot for sale ? DFI used to make one but its wery rare...

1. The soldering iron is for gluing electrical components together.
2. The razor blade is NOT for cutting up drugs.
3. The wire is IDE cable from 1997.
4. The Circuit Board is for reading temps or voltages
5. The table is well....a table.

1+2+3+4+5= I'm guessing a intelli-bench that has quick connects for voltage readouts for various components including temp readouts. Thats my guess :)

#2 was a laugh :D

Actually i am making an extension display for my PC analyzer card that goes into a PCI slot and shows an error code if pc fails to start. Something like a post display code. this extension is for my front panel of the bench table.
