What up OCA ?

Kinda coming out of a funk that is winter in the Northeast, Sure Allen and Duke can relate, Philly up in Minnisoda, well that is just effen crazy

Have my typical projects lined up for the spring, fist off is installing a tile back splash in the kitchen, using 4x4 slate and have about 280 of them to install. Then it is Furnace and AC unit replacment time ..... :ohcrap:

Good thing I know a tech that will work cheap .....

Then the worst of all have to tera out the asphalt leading to my garage and replace it with a concrete walk way as it is totally FUBAR'd

After all this it will be time to relax, looking like me and my Girlfriend are off to Hawaii for vacation, still have a lot of details to work out, like how in the hell will I afford it, but going none the less. Will have to look up some of the local benchers there if anyone knows any Hawaiian benchers :)

Hoping Kal and OCM are around & Rouge if she is still in for some benching action.

In the mean time doing some clean up in the garage as it looks like neweeg threw up all over the place. Got my GPU's sorted out and finally recived my withdraw hose that took like 3 and a half weeks to get here

So hoping once my spring cleaning list is complete to do some 230 liter action for peniies on the dollar from what I am used to paying

Blood sucking LN2 dealers, you would think it was crack or something

In the mean time I can be found hiding on a BF4 map somewhere with knife in hand ;)

Aloha

Nice set up man, yeah i understand the winter has been bad. I get home tomorrow or so, I'll be hooking up the phase change and also some other treats in store for my older GPU'S, I plan on using my soldering skillz lets just say...........
I have been ready to snap for a few weeks and need a vacation even though I'm four months into my new job. Was gonna visit MadDog in Shy town this week but even that job got canceled....ugh!

I should have my license in the next few months. Have to jump through some ridiculous hoops since I have not been licensed for over a decade, longer if you count the time that I had an expired DL and a Valid Military ID :)

Once I do we will have to schedule a time for me to drive up and help you waste a couple tens of liters :)

Lol, yeah, sharp upgrade from the 2007 Ford Explorer V8 Limited I was driving. I had to put stoopid loud exhaust on it just to feel macho.

My brother re-designed his 70 MonteCarlo 350/4bolter + posi traction bars + Holley 750 double pumper + race heads. Well, I should say the telephone pole re-designed it one day, lololol.

What's new OCA, been quite around here these days. I hope everyone is having a nice summer.

Not much benching going on here other than grinding a couple laptop for some TPP's

Just about have all my summer stuff wrapped up. After the tile, furnace and AC all I had left was to replace the sidewall to my garage. just finished up forming it and putting the down spout and bar in, all I have to do now is pour it.

Question for those of you that may hve experience with concrete, do I need an ex[ansion jiont from the blacktop to the concrete transition ?

Thanks

In my spare time I through a hardboard together for a guy and did a client gaming build , but no time to actually play with it ???

So the rest of the summer i can do stuff that is fun :)

Vacation is locked in heading to Kals homeland for 10 days landing in Owawho on the 28th of August. Hope to catch up with the fearless leader in person. Wonder if I can get a ride with the lights and siren on ........ Going to do some benching with a local cat on the 19th of July :clapping:

Hope everyone is having a great summer , talk to you in the funny papers :good:

Mr.Scott
06-23-2014, 04:15 PM
No, no expansion joint necessary on a blacktop driveway. Only crete to crete joints or crete to wood/metal. You'll want one up against the garage. ;)

Have fun on the trip, and benching with Funsy. :)
