Our good friend Scott showed some interest in a tech station in another thread, so I thought I would throw one together quick for him so he could sport and OCA original over at his home base..................

Yea their the bastards that just blew by us ........... Just kidding Scott ..........

Great job by all over at Classic Platforms :clapping:

it will be MATX, EATX and ATX compatible with a PCIe retention 120.2 rad ready with 15mm spacing & a removable motherboard tray to make mounting hardware a snap and also converts in to a hard table for sub ambient benching , Elastmeteric insulation not included as I have run out and need to order some in, sorry Scott :ohcrap:

Any way had a few extra minutes today so I thought I would get a little done on it. This is still pretty rough looking at this point.

Complete with a voodoo doll of the processor brand you don't like - Or maybe even of Massman and of course a few pins to stick 'em with for good measure.

Yea DFI was using a lot of yellow if memory serves me, What ever happen to them ? Seems like after x58 they were gone, shame they had some real killer boards, Rev was sporting a 775 DFI back in the day that he thought highly of

I never ran the ultraD

But I did have both the Abit A8N Deluxe and the ASUS AN8 Deluxe (one was a BIOS Mod board I forget which) :)

My Favorite was a barebones K8T800 Pro chipset board, that thing was so snappy and slick. Ran some quirky TCCD 2-2-2-5 at 500-525MHz. Would not run 2.5 or 3 cas AT ALL. (Apparently was fairly common). I wish I could find some result pics from that time. all I can find is me talking about it more recently though lol.

Here's what a good Ultra D can do with a good chip - Did this just yesterday as of this post. :cool2:

http://hwbot.org/submission/2349542_bones_wprime___1024m_athlon_64_4000_san_di ego_1517sec_562ms

If I could get it running cooler, it would run higher of course - You can only do so much on water.
Don't know if this chip has a CB yet.... But I will find out one day.

Thanks guys.
Hard to believe you can still get global points from a chip that was made over 5 years ago, yet there it is.
If I can get it colder I'll push it even farther.

Yes Mr. Scott, that was the freak chip getting it's freak on. ;)
