Great gaming and positinal sound field
works seemless with Windows 8

Con's
Music and movie playback is less than stellar
It is after all a Creative product ......
Too much for what it is, can be had for 99 bucks if you wait for a sale

As said in pros and cons if gaming is your bag, grab it quick , best gaming card I have owned

If playback is you gig, just say no, better off checking out the Asus line up

I just use the Realtek Optical output on my motherboard and feed it into a Yamaha amp with surround decoder for 5.1. I've never been happier with my gaming sound. I do the same for my home theater setup except i do 7.1 surround in there.
