Futuremark newsletter issue 274/June. 2012

Dear Futuremark readers,

Just a quick heads-up this week that Futuremark and ASRock have teamed up for a new contest called the "ASRock Z77 Overclocking Competition". The objective? Submit the highest 3DMark 11 or 3DMark Vantage score using a Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge CPU and an ASRock 7 Series Motherboard. In addition to the two overall winners, prizes will be handed out to the top weekly entries. The competition runs from June 11th to July 9th. And I have to say...there's some awesome goodies up for grabs. So don't miss out! :D

Btw, just checking, how come 7970's are not able to play nice in CF???? When I was benching with Ref. 7970's, though Individually even the worst card was able to do 1350Mhz, but in CF, was not able to go higher than 1180Mhz. Checking hwbot, same trend can be seen I believe....Any ideas???

Mine worked fine with the Sapphire TriXx, more than two cards I had real issues with.

The best idea I have is the AMD drivers blow, Sold mine a while back but it is my understanding they just recently released a driver that offically supports XP ....... :Dizzy:

I had the same problem getting two cards to clock decent while individually they did like 1400, they were unomodded reference cards to boot

My next card purchase looks to be GTX780 Lightning .........

:ohcrap: There not released yet ????

Forgot, nV has to finish milking us for everything were worth before they drop these beasts
