Unfortunately it's about that time where I have to get a new phone. What are some good review sites for mobile stuff? Ipizzle is out of the equation since I hate Apple. I'm undecided between a Windows mango phone or Android. Opinions?

If money isn't an issue, I'd go for an HTC Sensation XE.
Or wait a little bit for the Rezound.

I've been eyeballing the Atrix 2. Especially when I saw they confirmed an upgrade to ICS in Dec.

Either ATT or local BS company or order from Sprint online but I think I'd roam so much that they'd cancel my contract on me. Already talked to a salesperson about that for our company.

No Verizon here
I went the AT&T store today to play with some Win Phone 7.5 mango and Android phones. I live in the mountains so pretty much for signal any Motorolla or Ipizzle is the way to go according to the sales people. The Samsung Galaxy S II and the newer LTE version are pimp but the signal strength is supposed to suck. Plus they are like double price. The windows phones seemed ok but awkward. I wish I new somebody with one to spend more time with it.

iPizzle's signalling isn't nearly as good as Nokia's, HTC's & Samsung's.
Motorolla's not bad too.

Well my neighbor also works for att and for some reason the motorolla and iphone pick up best around here. I don't know why or how but that's two employees now to say the same thing. That's why I want to find quality review sites for mobile stuff.

YOU SIR ARE A GOOD MAN!
who is your provider?
cuz different people have different phones
EVO from sprint is pretty good but it's a little older now it is free tho
there is a phone coming out next i think this up coming monday with VZ but i can't remember the phone anymore it's got dual core cpu and you can overclock that sucker more some nice stuff for it
DO NOT GET 3D based phones they sux
oh and i hate att they drops calls like no other!!!!
VZ and sprint seem to have better coverage, sprint have unlimited everything and they will not reduce your speed when you download too much, VZ is fast as hell but don't have unlimited and it'll cost you out of uranus if you go over the limit.
oh i have always been a Nokia Motorolla fan boy, now HTC too. biggest anti LG and Samsung but i'd still take anything over a ifone!

Kinda sure the neighbor isn't. I am sure that our population density is really low, so no company invest hevily in towers here. Being in the mountains make matters worse. Hell we just got 3G back in May or so.

Kind of the same here. It is a little better since they upgraded the towers to 3G. The other option is a locally owned company that has great service but is expensive. Plus there phone selection is weak and they have retarded rules/limitations in the fine print.

So... ATT only. Samsung Focus Flash or S (either variant) with win phone 7.5 mango, Samsung Galaxy S II or LTE variant, or Motorolla Matrix 2? I know the Matrix 2 will get ICS in Dec. Not so sure about the galaxy phones. Or is there a slew of new phones to come out that are worth waiting for? Any coming out with the new tegra 3 chips? Gonna ask local friends about the whole motorolla and better signal stuff but I have a hard time believing there is a huge difference between two quality phones. I tend to keep the same phone for the duration of my contract so I want to do it right this time and get a fairly bleeding edge model that still functions ok two years from now.
