Silverstone Raven 2 Case Spotted at Computex
Silverstone is getting ready to present the Raven 2 at the show, starting tomorrow. We were able to take a few pictures of the chassis already. It is much more compact than the original Raven, but features the same unique layout in which the mainboard is mounted with the rear slots facing upward.

Silverstone has packed the case with an AMD based motherboard and four Radeon 4870X2s. The bottom of the case holds three, what appear to be, 200 mm fans which pull air into the case and the power supply is mounted so that it has access to cool air, blowing it out the top as well.

Silverstone has included a special mount for an SSD and a hole to gain access to the cooler backplate of the mainboard on the side of the case as well.

Nice case... I didn't know you could hook up four 4870 x2's, does that really work? First time i've heard of that.

12 bucks they are using that 1500w silverstone psu. What else psu would have enough plugs for 4 gpus?

Must be a new fangled motherboard too, less its a crunching or folding whatever MONSTER!!!!!!

I just noticed they don't have the bridges on them linking any of them together.

I love the inovation!! I think it's kinda cool how the orientation is of the mobo :D Probably not practicle for me, but I like it. Thinking outside of the box.

Yah, it's definitely a "Cool" factor rig. Too bad I abandoned "Cool" for "Kold" a long time ago :band2:

Hence the not practical for me part. Tech stations or a piece of insulation is my case nowadays.

Ya know I like a nice clean build in a nice case. I could see me using a cool case like that for the 24/7 rig. Too bad Silverstone is just a little too proud of their products for me.
