Early i7 975XE testing on LN2

Setup:
CPU: Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition
Motherboard: EVGA CLASSIFIED X58
RAM: 6GB Triple Channel DDR3 PC10700 (Generic)
GPU: 2x ATI RADEON HD 4870x2's in CrossFire X
Power Supply: Tagan BZ 1300w
Case: DangerDen NexGen Modded Torture Rack

Cooling Hardware:
CPU: KingPin F1 EE
GPU: DangerDen H20 Blocks, NexGen Liquid Chiller

The new Intel Core i7 975 Extreme Edition D0 CPU is an amazing overclocker and will help Intel regain its Overclocking crown

The D0 Revision brings a new level of overclocking for the i7 and makes consistent 5GHz benchmarks a reality for the majority of upcoming D0 i7 chips.

After 200L of LN2 and several bad i7 975 chips I found a decent chip for 3DMark
pulling in 5.1GHz it was not the best chip but good enough to nearly break 35,000 in 3DM06

I am currently working on stable 5.2GHz 06 runs.

I did not even adjust the timings :)

the DRAM timings were left to auto :)

it will auto skew up to about 1050MHz before i need to up the CMD Rate and tighten timings :)

That's odd :confused: I was just about to do that :D along with a few nf200 classifieds (egg don't got the non-f200) :eek:

I'll just wait now and buy your's off u when ur done v-modding and benching :trophy:

Man you have problems :D Atleast you are at the right place to seek treatment for your sickness :rolleyes: Plus it's interesting to watch.

You really need to take a vacation, fly to Idaho, and have a week long binge bench session with Travis :D

ROFL, I have been trying to get him to do this for some time now!!

I have everything ready in "Mission Control" if any one wants to join me in benching.

If I could get off from work long enough, I'd be there already lapping down LN2! Alas, I'm the furthest away, lol :D
