Nice to see you posting up Kal.

920 C0 @ 4.1ghz on water (Degraded chip after 2.7 years straight at 1.4+v :) used to be 4.4ghz)
Classified 759 (water)
6gb Gskills 782 mhz 6-7-6-18
Single 5870 on water (crippled card - can't put stock cooler on it cause of radial caps I soldered on to replace blown/melted stock surface mount caps)
Single 300mg Vrap with 1tb caviar black storage
Vista 64
HX1000
24" Samsung 245t (I ain't a gamer....)
Tt keyboard
Razer lachesis
Bare desk - mouse mats are for girly boys. ;)

Updating this week with quality spare parts sitting in the garage. Ditching the smelly algae ridden loop and going for a quiet air experience. 2600K (spare 5.6ghz chip) under venomous X, P67-UD4, 2x2 g-skill c7 2200's, 580X CUII (that quiet fan/triple slot heatsink setup is way better for a 24/7 rig than a matrix or lightning), win7 x64.

Home rig is a 2600 (non K) at 3.9 GHz, HD6870, 1600mhz sloppy 8GB ram and a 500 GB HDD.

Although thinking about going back to AMD, considering how smooth the 1090T and 990FX setup is. Have not done much gaming on it yet (little Stalker pripyat with 580GTX). I prefer AMD cards for gaming so 580 will keep getting flipped for testing machines till it dies too (first one died trying to play Crysis2 DX11 and full textures :S)

I do have an H67 setup the 2600 might go into for HTPC duties...if not a 2500K (cheapest sandy B worth buying as far as I can tell)

i don't think you can/wanna it's not gonna help much cuz the chipset in the system isn't really gonna take advantage of it

i am not even sure if it'll even see it at all.....

on the other end Wii is the one you wanna play around with and drop a 2TB hdd with or something stupid lol

Umm, just cause it passes wprime...

My old sandyB could run 4.5 GHz at 1.3v on wprime.

Needed 1.35 to do vantage or superpi though.

Damn nice though and I do get your point :) (Just saying that for sandy wprime aint the tough test :) )

I'm lame though, my sandy is at 3.9 for daily use.

Planning on upgrading my rig once BD comes out.

Lookin' at an 8150 + whatever board will OC the best, guessing UD7/5 or CHV

already have 16GB of ripjaws lying around + some hypers for benching. (not wonderful for AMD, but better than 1600 CL9 ripjaws)

probably keep the rest of my rig the same. Once 7XXX GPUs come out, i'll probably get a 7990 if it is reasonably priced, if not, 7970.

maybe a bigger SSD, 40GB is kinda small.

Impressive as hell and nice case mod to boot.

What do you with your rig aside from post on forums? Have a need for that much power? Or is it "just cause I could" (nothing wrong with that BTW... you can be damn sure if I could have as nice a setup as you I would too..)

I need 5 PCs in my house (well I could use more but they would get used rarely) though so my resources are spread out, 2 for me, and 3 for everyone else to use, including one HTPC thats going to get a hexa even though my unlocked sempron 140 works just fine when im done reviewing 990FX boards :) )

As good as AMD cards are for multitasking with multi mons and gaming, I still have issues with DX11 games blanking or not updating my second screen. :( (My 580GTX, isnt even used except for in review PCs as it sucks so bad at multi mon :ohcrap:so my "gamer" is a 6870 *sigh)

Yep, this is pure pwnage in a 24/7 system, besides it looks like the best pc of the year! :)

24/7 use, internet, gaming, msn chatting, and when i'm benching with my benchrig, i post the scores also with this setup, while the benchrig is running benchmark lol.

Benchrig :

M4E + 2600k 55x on SS
Ripjaws X 2133 7-9-7-24
Angelbrid Crest ssd 60gb 3x one with xp performance, 1 with vista and one with win7.
Custom build SS
Vga's all kind of evga gtx580ssc, 4870 Matrix, evga 8800gt 512mb etc....

But soon after i benched Gtx580 classy's etc, i think i will sell it.

Wow. your benchrig is less powerful than your main rig at "real" world usage. Thats amazing.

I get it though :)

benching requires a setup that excels at 10 year old software. Might say that a 2P 16 thread setup is not good for that LOL.

for benching and get best scores need a fast 2600k +5500, the speed of this cpu blows away the sr-2 in 3D, exept in vantage when cpu power also counts.

and also don't whant to blow my daily rig to dead when bencing to lol
