My Kingston Hyper X's Elpida's failed me or at least one stick did and I'm in the market for some more RAM. I am torn between these three sets. I'm really leaning towards the Perfect Storms as they are cheaper and have had great results. Opinions anyone?

CORSAIR DOMINATOR-GT (3 x 2GB) 1866 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10010409)

CORSAIR Dominator GT (3 x 2GB) 2000 (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10010360)

G.SKILL Perfect Storm (3 x 2GB) 2000 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231258)

Thanks,

Nip

I say 1866 doms. Those are the cheapest in stock. Plus you know that they have been binned. Granted they didn't pass validation at 2000mhz C7, but they'll probably do it at 1.7v instead of 1.65v.

Anyone else's opinion? I have pretty much ruled out the 1866 Corsair GT's. The Perfect Storm's have a lil tighter timings but the GT's are made in the US and in the event of failure a RMA would prolly be quicker. Thoughts?

I have heard excellent things about the perfect storm series, they look to be very capable, but the new ocz blade series also seem very nice, something to consider if theyre available

Ah but they are $420 or so a wop for CL7. Next in line are CL9's I think as they don't have CL8 versions. I have read mixed results on them as well.

Guess I will go with the Corsair GT's as I have read horror stories of RMA'ing RAM back to Taiwan if you go the G.Skill route and one blows a flat on you.

Check out our F/S section, I'm trying to sell my GT's. Of course I would help you if you ever needed RMA. Mine do 2000 C7 on just over 1.7V
