I build a Ducati Monster complete custom.

Even the tank was carbonfibre.
Airbrush on the tank.

I chased a guy riding one of these on the freeway in the rain. Dipshit didnt know how to run the clutch, so when he took an offramp and had to downshift and then accellerate, the bike died on him, he started it again but was still in a high gear and the bike kept dying out. Then he got de-biked, de-helmetted and de-cleeted. Twas epic!

I saw that happen once except the guy flew by me at like a 100+ and forgot to turn, his head slapped the center cement divider and his brain popped out of a perfect hole in his helmet and slid a good long way down the freeway, it was steaming in the night.

Is that from the surface not being smooth?
I was told after the fact that you need to wait a minimum of two days after spraying clear before applying decals...they said out-gassing of the clear curing caused this.
On the upside I may be able to salvage this. Took a soft cloth saturated with lacquer thinner and within three minutes had all the decals cleanly off.

Another attempt...this time around I added some Fire Red flake over the black base coat. I will let this cure for two days before re-applying the tank decal and following coats of clear. (Crosses fingers...)

Speaking of which a friend of mine has two scooters in the garage were I just moved too. Think you would like them a Harley and a honda. the honda is a classic large motor bike though. 1800CC I think I saw. I dont know bikes, thought it was an "indian" but I saw honda on it, so that cant be.

Picked up the bike and left out at 10:am arriving back home at 5:30 pm...939 total miles. By my math I had been driving for 26 hours straight...awake for even longer. I will not be doing this again. Bike is in excellent condition with 7030 miles showing on the odometer.

It's true. Used to do the Tri-State circuit up here. Ran in quite a few national events. Was even on ESPN a couple times.
Divorce ended all that fun shit. Had to liquidate all non-essential assets to cash. A .45 round and a plane ticket to Mexico would have been cheaper.

You do realize the bars are adjustable, right? ;)
150/80 is about all the tire you are going to get under a stock Sportster and is plenty up to the task. Built this one with AHDRA SEP class in mind...11.50 index.

It's awesome. You're gonna whack second gear, the boost is gonna come on, and it's going to smoke the piss outta that tire.
Seriously, it's an awesome build. I like it.:)
11.50 will put you around 120mph. Not a lot of rake on it, watch for speed wobble.

I've already run the piss out of it Scott up and down the road doing data logging. This turbo is not peaky like some...it's almost in boost off idle. Runs up to 120mph so far have shown no ill handling, but it will be getting a steering dampner anyway for good measure.

No air or electric shifter for this one. Gains would be minimal as I can shift clutchless with barely a blip of the throttle. If this were a dedicated strip machine I would probably consider it, but it will eventually be taken to Bonneville or Wilmington Ohio for land speed runs...little use for that there. The entire reason for the dragstrip time is to finalize tuning...I despise dynos. ;)

Is that a 350 bored out? Its still roomie under that hood or else I'd guess a bigger block. Stock would mean a 350 with a few, helpers. What a rush it must be, very clean Camero! Take off a few things like door panels and factory air, fiberglass front clip you got a 10 second bracket car. A few tweaks to the carb  Yer smoking!!! ENJOY!

Ok, sitting here at the office nearly bored out of my skull...thought I would give a shout out.
I've been homeless since March 30 2017 when I sold my home. Just yesterday morning I bought 5.6 acres of land not too far out of town and plan to build something to retire in. Thinking a metal pole barn/building with living quarters in the back...40'x60' w/attached awning to park the race rig under.

Heya Rick
Whats the landscape like on yer 5.6 acres? Looks to be green and fairly level. Nice place to be at peace, away from pesky neighbors. We've been thinking of selling and picking up a few acres of Agriculture land to raise our Danes and run our breeding business. We got about three years left before we retire ourselves.
Happy New Year

All of Labor Day weekend. I trust this Zippyloan review (https://www.wtkr.com/brand-spotlight/zippyloan-review) and broke the walls into roughly 20' sections so I could manage to raise them upright alone. Bench pressing those 2x12x20 ceiling joists was about all I could handle for sure...tired puppy that weekend.
Guys are coming Sunday morning to make/install the gutters which it sorely needs. I have about half of the apartment insulated right now...the rest will follow after the firewall is sheetrocked and I run the lineset's for the HVAC unit.
Amazing looking cars, Rick. Love the red color on the 1965 El Camino. It looks so sexy. What are your plans with the cars?

Both El Camino's are gone. The red one I never took delivery of because the seller on ebay actually resold it after I had made payment and was awaiting transportation...yep, some real winners out there in the world. After that I decided to shed myself of the blue one as well because it was misrepresented by the seller...my fault for not having it checked out before purchasing.
Anyway, I picked up this '47 Chevy Rat truck above Chicago recently and plan to redo it to my liking once I have the shop completed.

Already stripped some of the metal off it. The bed will be the next thing to go replaced with a homemade flat bed of my design. The truck cab is sitting on a chopped '87 Chevy one ton dually chassis with a '89 Dodge Cummins turbo diesel stuffed between the rails.

The shop is built and they are putting metal on it atm. I don't have any pictures on this laptop right now, but I will post some soon of the progress. Hope everyone is doing well.

This is the shop I needed 30 years ago...oh well, better late than never I suppose.
Turns out all contractors are so flippin busy I can't get anyone to show up for projects such as framing, plumbing, HVAC, ect., so I just fell into it on my own. Problem is when all your buddies are your age and are in worse physical condition than you are lol...help has been non-existent. Framing was just strenuous...the plumbing, I just suck at, but got er done. Going to install a split-mini heat and air system myself and get a pro to purge/charge at the end. The electrical part was a no brainer as that was my business many years ago.

Decided to go with a metal ceiling in both the apartment and shop area. The walls will be mostly wood paneling of some sort. Lighting will be LED throughout. I will post more pics as this progresses.

Hey Superman, you definitely know how to gitter dun Rick. How long it take you to frame all that up solo?

All of Labor Day weekend. I broke the walls into roughly 20' sections so I could manage to raise them upright alone.
