need help!!! am confused :(

Hi guys!
need an new display....but am a bit confused about what size to get?
so here goes my NOOB question : what is the minimum size i have to get to run benches and normal day to day work @ 1280*1024.....i think thats the highest i need to run 3d vantage and 3dmark 11.....if i am wrong then plz correct me....
help out a brother here....

Yea I have heard the Asus monitor are pretty decent, I use a 24" Asus at work and works nice .....

Personally I like to have a 1920 x 1200 so I can compete in the top res X3 thread ..... :laughing:

It isnt the physical size of the monitor that matters, rather the resolution it supports. ;)

Just decide what the max resolution you can live with and shop the spec's when looking for a monitor.

For the record, I had to replace my old Viewsonic G800 21' CRT last March and got one of these:

No dead or stuck pixels so far and it looks really good. Virtually no lag that I've been able to see in games so far and the monitor has a variety of inputs you can use; DVI, VGA and HDMI so whatever card you might have should work with it. Plenty of menu options too and that's a plus.
Of course I'm NOT using the built in speakers - Not that desperate (Yet). :blink:

As for gaming, to me it's the perfect size, not so big you can't see everything within your field of vision yet big enough that you can see everything right down to the smallest details.

For under $200.00 it's a good deal.

Great looking monitor. I was looking at this one the other day. I like how the the plugs are integrated in the stand.
