We had one here and it did alot of damage, just got power back this evening to post anything.

There were 5 fatalities and 7 injuries reported here and it could have been alot worse. The tornado came within about a mile or so from my home and I had already bugged out when it showed up after seeing the reports of what was coming.
Saw the damage first hand and it's bad.

The first link has a video report and the second link has a photo gallery showing some of the damage here.

Not so many structures damaged here. Mainly tree's uprooted...that is the number one culprit in this area when it comes to power outages. I have been cutting up limbs and stringing new wire all week.

We finally got power back at my house yesterday morning, just got the interwebz back last night.

Pretty crazy with over 160 tornados in one day. So many people dead or missing. :(

The EMA channel was calling them out every 5 minutes with speed and general direction. It was flucking crazy, watched debris fly over the plant I work at up about 400 feet for almost 2 hours straight.

Still haven't heard from my friend in Birmingham. I have tried reaching him several times but with no luck. Has me a little worried. Hopefully cell phone towers are screwed up there or something.

Cell phone towers are pretty sketchy still, I'm not sure they have power that far south yet either. I'm about 70 miles closer to the effected nuke plant than he is. The one that hit Tuscaloosa was pretty big, that may impact power and phones more so than where I am.
