I was wondering that just an hour ago. Prolly on down the line. Until then I'm looking for the P8P67-M PRO not the P8H67-M PRO. Found it at some off beat shops for around $150. I still have a month until my newest build will be complete so I'm not going to push the button on it quite yet.

Don't know, I am actually hoping a Maximus Gene comes out for this platform.
They had a ton of boards down there. Nothing decent on the Micro ATX platform though. Here is the case I am looking at

emailed my contact at ASUS about Sabertooth and the Gene, its Sunday so I probably will not hear back till the work week starts. If he has any information I will post it up in this thread for you guys.
Hopefully Gigabyte releases a nice ITX format based on the p67/z68. :)

Nice. Was going to go with the H70 myself but don't think it will fit. It might if I get a 120x12mm fan but really don't want to go that route. Might still get it and try and if not send it back for the Coolit which I know will fit. Problem I will run into is RAM clearance with it.

Picture this...a birdcage with three levels inside. Bottom level holds the psu and hdd. Center holds the mb and graphics card. Top level contains a Boreas TEC cooler. A cord sticking out the bottom and a handle on top...doesnt get more portable than that. You could even get one of those birdcage covers for when you transport it. ;)
http://www.birdcages.com/bird-cages/medium-bird-cages/haenabirdcagemedium.cfm Or maybe just two levels with the mb on top and the rest on the bottom.
Perhaps a Cape Cod is more to your liking... http://www.birdcages.com/bird-cages/small-bird-cages/featherstonecapecodbirdcage.cfm
Oooo...bird proof lock on this one. http://www.birdexpressions.com/poquito-hotel-avian-travel-cage.html

I like the ASUS board, but only because I use a lot of USB stuff and the 4 USB3 ports is nice. ASSUMING of course that the ASUS board comes with a front panel usb3 aapter (I dod not see one pictured) it has the 19 pin header on board for the ASUS front panel USB3, but I did not see one in accessories.
USB3 makes USB2 faster as well, allowing it to hit the actual maximum values.
Gigabyte looks okay as well. One quick look I do not see any difference between them.

Heard back from ASUS
Gene there is no confirmed ETA or project discussions currently. I assume this means it could be a few months. (which is kinda normal for the Gene right? Extreme, then gene then formula?)
Sabertooth I did not receive and answer on yet, he did respond pretty fast though, I was at a funeral since 3PM though so this is the first I got to respond to his email.

it is about 25.00 worth of gas for me to get there.
so 296.97 + 25 = $ 321.97 and no three hour rpound trip.
Yesterday they wanted $ 349.99 + 4.99 shipping or somethng making it worth the ride

Not as good of power solution as the ME4 but better PCIe bandwidth.
Being this is going to be a gaming rig this was paramount and the only other board thus far with 2x 16x slots was the UD7, poor implementaion of the slot location on the UD7 was the deal breaker and what can I say, I have to check out the UFI ....
You can screen shot your bios FTW as I understand it.
digging the industrial looking heat sinks should make a fine gaming board, and the board lay out itself is industry leading even better than the MX4 IMHO. Luving the PCIe power right next to the 24 pin instead of out in no mans land as well as the front USB3 header is ther as well to keep wireing out of no mans land for way Kool factor wireing
OC potencial, well the jury is still out and we will see what happens as I will be using a very small ATX case, and a H70 with some upgraded fans will be be doing the dirty work.
I would be please with 4.4 to 4.6 24/7 and from what I have been reading it is viable as I want to push the cards as hard as poosible. Anything under 4.2 I am afriad these things will be haning around tapping their feet.
Comenplating using a 280 for physics duty but not sure the bandwidth hit is worth it.
