I can't seem to get it to boot windows @ 4.5GHz(or a 22x multi or higher) with TinyXP, no matter how much vcore is given. Granted I am just using the chiller right now and that berely gets it below zero with any kind of voltage to 6-cores.

What I am wondering is why can't I get it to boot with a 23x multi? I need to be able to use a higher multi if I want to clock it high.....at least that is what it looks like after browsing other ppls high OC cpuz shots.

With the chiller I was able to get high 4800s and with LN2 I was able to get almost 5700MHz, but that was with just a 17x multi.

You see I have a tank of LN2 sitting in the garage waiting for new years eve, and I don't want to waste it beating my head against the wall with this 1090T. So I'm trying to get it figured out ahead of time.

Any suggestions would be great, and I'll be here to answer any questions you may have while trying to help me.

Good to hear...what ended up being the solution?

Tiny7 instead of TinyXP.....it booted to 200x23 but not 24....however the chip isn't staying very cold with my chiller. It works great to freeze a single or dual core, but if I put any voltage through these 6 cores it gets up to around 10C and that's too hot to OC it any further.

I have the system working pretty nicely now, but I still have a couple days to fine tune things.(or more likely fuck it up);)

xp puts more load when loading windows then w7

like for my 980 it needs to be 5.75Ghz and w7 i can boot at 6Ghz ;)

but 10c is that core temps ?

The CPU temp in HWMonitor and in my BIOS were reading well above 0. HWMonitor said the cores were all a constant 0. It's accuracy is questionable when cold, but it seems pretty good above 0.

EDIT: the temps are probably a little high because I used cheap silicone grease....I'll buy some ceramique tomorrow.
