This is why you must take the time to guard against condensation. Especially if you're gonna risk it all and bench during hot/daylight hours. Looks pretty cool to me http://www.overclockaholics.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif. This is my 790i ultra sli w/qx6850 a few moments ago as I finished a overclockaholics grind session. Still looking for that golden goose run on the 6850 before I chuck it in an e-mail rig.

For this chiller mod, I had already sprayed eletric tape spray around the cpu socket and sealed it up. The socket itself has vasoline "off the shelf" in it. Board still survives today :D after many many spills, chills and thrills!

I am so jealous of you guyz in US, we dont get anything of this sort here in India, have to import all the insulation/pots from the US. No cascade/phase builder and then costly hardware with lower salary package, life sucks being an overclocker here, :Dizzy:,
My mom told me to study harder, if only I listened to her, :p, could have gone someplace, :rofl

Jeez...that is a good lesson in "just in case"

I'm getting my pots in few weeks, custom made, just want to know which is the best, cost effective way to insulate a motherboard for DICE and LN2 sessions? I know of foam insulation, but are there any other ways?

My first time benching at sub-zero, looking forward to it :)

Cost effective? Ummmmm, SPray on electric tape is purdy cheap, some closed neoprene foam, paper towel and off the shelf Vasoline.

Good idea is to use kneeded art eraser, it can be shaped and molded air tight around the processor and because its rubber it doesnt short anything. Cost varies from place to place.
