Shannon first lemme say thanks for sharing this. Now let me ask you three questions of which you will prolly only be able to answer one. :)

What is that thingy beside the right angle 24-pin connector?

What pwm solution did you guys go to? It doesn't look like Volterra. You SHOULD be able to share this since Giga & Asus spilled their beans. ;)

Who is gonna take over the role of Peter to do all the testing, help with BIOS development, customer service, more testing and all the wonderful stuff Peter brought to the table? You know he played a huge role in why people bought evga.

If three is too sensitive lemme know and I'll remove that one. :)

Will there be a ATX Micro solution on the high end?

Looking to build a LAN box for my son using this platform

Thanks for the look

Why the right angled 24 pin?

Looks like a volt meter check point or a over volt switch to me chuchnit.

ah maybe new ECP panel header? It's too small to be IDE.

1) hmmm maybe a seperate discussion will spawn from this... sanctum anyone :) (if i still have access)

2) lets just say we can discuss at another time

3) There are many people behind the scenes. I got mad respect for shammy, he is an amazing guy for sure. But like any time a wide reciever gets traded or moves on.... you pick up and keep moving... there are many people working on the "in depth" workings of this board and how to make it scream including myself. as always EVGA will deliver

sorry for the car analogy, but anyone who knows what a GNX was and how it changed the drag racing world will understand....

So what you just said is that evga has da hookup for increasing bclock. ;) :D

Edit: Some reading (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_Regal) for Honda to get the picture. Info is about half the way down on the 1987 GNX. If you still don't get it then I'll explain in layman's terms later. ;)

eh eh.... i didnt say that.... just that the power circuit is very strong for the board... this thing I think you will like ALOT.. Meant no disrespect to honda on that one.

It wasn't disrespectful. Honestly there are tons of gear heads that don't really know what the grand nationals did to the industry in the 80's. Hell the X through me for a loop for a second and I had to use google to jog my memory. That was one hell of a car though...... they go for a TON of money at auction too.

By looking at the hwbot pic (comes in clearer on this PC) it looks like one BIOS chip + maybe two EFI chips just below it????? Maybe pull a Gigabyte....launch with BIOS and offer EFI later?

Perhaps a way to add flash based storage to the board. Something that runs off the PCIE instead of the ICH?
