I fixed the mb i think it didnt like the wires to the power button the way i had it.... switched them around now it boots :blush: major user FAIL :laughing:
But got a ? is it okay to cover the area around the socket with eraser showen in the pic ?

i there there are some dead p5b deluxe on ebay..that you can use the heatsinks....they do get warm...almost 300watts from the wall...idles at 90w from the wall...

wifes home and its at 1.75v max right now so need to turn down the vr for more power :thumbsup:

7ghz is going to be a breeze for ya. Then you'll try for 7ghz boot.

i fought the mb for like 2-3hrs and found out it was the vr pins where toughing :wtfsign:
MB had no cb or cbb even in dual channel
booted at 260fab @-180c ihs temp max vcore was 1.944 or it would reboot

we tried 2 352s.....max fsb on both is 299mhz....so you're prolly maxing something out

Nice 7!
Try lowering voltage before going higher. My 7.9 chip would take 2+v, but clocked worse with anything over 1.84-1.85v.
