I learn everything the hard way.

I loaded W7 Home Premium on the SR2 to flash the BIOS and see if all the components were working (so I could sleep).
OS loaded in a few minutes without a hitch. BIOS showed 2 CPUs. Device manager shows 24 Xeons. Prime95, wprime, and task manager only show 12 threads....so I was freaking out. I wondered what I was doing wrong..... for a couple days.

DOH......***correction; W7 Pro, Enterprise, and Ultimate support multiple CPUs. .....not W7 Home Premium.
There, no one else has to be a dumb ass and go through that kind of stress.

I tell ya man it gets confusing. You would think that the latest greatest OS (win7), all versions would do the job for you. Then again we are talking about 24 threads and that is a bunch just compared to three years ago.

As much as you build and tweak, why don't you just get a technet sub? It would save you a TON of money.
