A while back I got this card:

It was a cheap card to boot up and load windows with. I knew it was not crossfireX capable. Just for shits and grins I ran a few benches with it. I noticed some submissions on the bot with a 5450 in crossfireX, and i figured there must be a different version of the 5450.
This card says CrossfireX ready:

Looking at a picture I couldn't see how that is possible, then I noticed "software crossfire". WTF? No physical link between the two.
So, how many cards can be used in software crossfireX? Anyone here know???
