EVGA GTX480SC BIOS Flash Tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kO2uXNQkubQ)By sirjamesddj (http://www.evga.com/forums/showprofile.aspx?memid=589333)

Heres a easy way i made up so i could flash my bios as easy as i could http://i.tpucdn.com/forums/images/smilies/toast.gif

NVTubroFlash has been downloaded and used over 500 times over this year it is 100% safe 22/05/2010

I though i would post 1 thread for all the ISO's i have made for the easiest bios flashing for different hardware.

1ST
You'll need to download what IOS is need to flash your bios and your bios, then download UltraISO trail will work fine.

Extensions are shown in ( )

AWDTubroFlash (http://www.box.net/shared/jfz2t9omcb) - AWARD Motherboards (BIN)
NVTubroFlash (http://www.box.net/shared/ysjqz38y34) - NVIDIA Video Cards (ROM)
NVTurboForceFlash (http://www.box.net/shared/ysjqz38y34)- NVIDIA Video Cards (ROM) **FROCE FLASH**
TurboPhlash (http://www.box.net/shared/kzso4v59eo) - Phoenix Motherboards (WPH)

UltraISO (http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/download.htm)
is an ISO CD/DVD image file creating/editing/converting tool download the trial and install it

2ND
Run UltraISO and open the iso you downloaded by clicking File>Open, now rename your bios to BIOS and make sure it the right extension, then drag the file onto UltraISO now make sure your usb flash drive is plug in then goto Bootable> Write Disk Image, 1st format it to FAT it must be FAT to work! then leave it on Write Method USB-HDD+ and select you usb drive then click Write

3RD
Then restart you pc and hit your boot menu button to bring up your boot menu the select usb/removable or if its not there it be under HDD it should auto start the flash program if you have followed all steps correct

RECOVERY FROM A BAD BIOS FLASH VERY RARE
Please note if a bios flash goes wrong your card always can be recovered steps bellow
1.you need a back up card and a motherboard with more than 1 PCI-E slot
2.place your back up card into slot 1 and the other with the bad flash into slot 2
3.rerun NVTubroFlash and it will ask you to flash the 1st card 1st then the 2nd just skip the 1st and reflash the 2nd
Thats how easy it is to recover from a bad flash.
