Just picked one up cause it has mounting slots that will let you easily mount on your F1 standards on any intel socket size. My GTZ I had to change the bracket, My XT had too much back pressure, so I tried this one and like it. Core temps with wet ice in the chiller stay in low 20s at 4.5ghz on all 6 cores, significantly better than the GTZ.

Solid copper body makes it great for cooling and for looks. I'd a bought the silver version if Sidewinders had them :(

Anyway, good all around all socket CPU in the higher price brackets.

I believe he is talking about the back plate.

yeah, the back plate and the 4 screws that stick up to mount the F1. If you don't use the blocks mounting h/w you can just slide it down the F1 screws and then use the F1 h/w to tighten it down

Here's a pic - quality prolly not too good cause I used the cell phone. Really like this block and using it this way you can slip it on between LN2 sessions to download or tweak or tune :D Fit's any intel socket size (and amd but not sure how that would work with a pot setup?)

Pic worse than I thought  I'll try and get a better one

:rofl; yea, that's the waves crashing over the top on the right, and on the left you can just make out the red life rafts  Gotta find the battery charger for the good camera again

used two bitspower soft 90 black chrome to run the water over the side and back. Looks like shit, i know, but blow it up and it REALLY looks like shit

K - battery charged :)

The same mounting arms will slide down a 445 or 1155 set of F1 posts - nice and easy peasy :P

when I first wrote about this whore of a CPU water block, I had generally all nice things to say. It cools like a mother, and mounting it was no problem so long as I slid it down the mounts for my Dragon F1.

Today I tried it with the mounting kit that comes with it PAIN IN THE ASS!!!

:hater: it is virtually impossible, for me at least, to mount it according to the directions, which unfortunately are ONLY IN GERMAN. (fortunately I know some German :P)

Now I'm going to use the backplate and hold down feet off the swiftech GTZ and lock this badboy into place in my gamer.

jeeeez

I don't read German, got pics?
Don't start another thread with the pics when you find them. Just look in the water cooling section for this thread ;)
