No really.. I thought the 69 was THE 69.. and that "ss" meant single stage....
Me = nerd w/ mind in the gutter... I would have guessed the other way if we were in an auto forum... I still read the f-body forums even though my Pontiac is in that deluxe garage in the sky (R.I.P. *sniff*)
...you're still a perv to me. :D

Someone told me they closed down Rockingham? Had a few diesel racer buddy's that used to go there a couple times a year to race. I'm not in NC anymore though so I don't talk to them.

Been out of the loop for awhile...havent heard. Those diesel trucks are amazing! I remember the first one I saw run eleven seconds in the quarter...jaw dropping! :ohcrap:
I used to go there to watch the bikes. The manager of the shop I worked at back when ran a drag team with his son. They rode for Honda and Ducati. Talk about fast.... :cool3:
...oh, and WIN for testosterone finally returning to the forums! :ohcrap: :taunt:

It wasn't a red long bed, extended cab, mid-90's dodge was it? Was this at Rockingham? If so that was my buddy JohnP. 890hp 1500+TQ and drives it everywhere including to CO to race each year. :ohcrap:

How much different is AMD vs Intel overclocking wise. I mean difficulty. I put my grandparents an AMD rig together and was totally lost as to how in the hell to overclock it.

Same basic ideas, just need to relearn voltages. I do not see a big difference between AMD and Intel clocking (X58/AM3). I have not had any 6+ GHz runs yet on either platform though.

You could write us an AMD overclocking guide for us AMD noobs here that wanna maybe go after some AMD hw boints. Plus it would make some great content for the AMD section.

I am sure in the next few days when splave is done freezing his 555 he will have a lot more knowledge than I do ;)
Ordering some RAM for my AMD setup next Wednesday. So if I do not have my kids next weekend I will try and get something together. Umm after I bench for the contest of course
