The Title says it all folks. This thread has win written all over it. Stay tuned for updates. I am arriving on thursday afternoon in Dallas, and I will attempt to prepare QuakeCon for the arrival of the Spliginator on thursday evening.

Here is a pic of the pelican case which UPS brought for me today. Within it holds everything we will need to dominate....All packed up ready to woop some ass.

The case is a Pelican 1620. With a tsa lock and the lid organizer with shipping it was still less than $300...no brainer for me. As for threads and/or cases having win all over them, I really couldn't have said it any better than Yoda/2d "we WILL NOT disappoint!"

Man I had a blast today! Rom and Splave came from behind in both benches to win, couldn't have written a better script.

I had 12 beers in tribute to today's successfull contest and lemme tell yah, fish, poi and steak go great with triumph! :good:

Haven't drank in a while, sober now, but I was thoroughly drunk earlier :D

I spoke with the guys and they had a great time with the Pure guys today and enjoyed a fun filled overclocking experience free of some the past drama's that go along with competing.

All kidding aside, it was a pretty close race and tight down to the wire. Wish I coulda been there to watch these bad ass overclockers duke it out with each other.

The second Thuban that the boys tested was good enough to take wprime 32 from them and seal the victory. Once they knew their chip had nothing left in wprime and 3d wasn't cooperating for either team, we all just called it good :)

I'm so glad that everyone got along and there was no tension. I could tell by the feed on the first day that everyone was cool. Thats the way it should be. I was put back by the sceen of everyone there being nice to each other. Even Chew looked civilized. On the first day he was alll over the OCA table. I think he likes RomDom. He kept checking out his butt.

I must say, after watching Chew eat that Hogie or grinder, whatever it was, I can see where he got his alias. I hope i never have to witness that again.

Definitely want to thank the gang at Asus, most notably Brian, V2V3, Darth Beavis, Chew and Kaboom. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and had no problem with including our Dentlord in everything (even though we just decloaked him there with no notice). Great crowd, great benchin environment, total class acts and a blast to be part of.

Brian Y and Chris (Gomeler) where very cool customers and class acts. There were helpful and friendly, seemed like we had benched together a hundred times.
The contest was definitely a chess match, we just got lucky with our back-up chips both days.

Also I would like to thank Vince and Jacob over at the EVGA booth. Vince is great and was more than happy to educate us in the ways of the force. His new f1 is, for lack of a better word, sweet...can't wait to bench with it.

eric actually came up with the initial idea and i made it into what it is right now. The purpose is to promote rampage iii gene for its small form factor. and how can we really show form and function? to do overclocking and a bit of case modding. there are a million ways to reduce weight in a case or even make a case super light weight. just think strategy and loop holes =P its limited to air and water only. since we are scoring on weight as well, youll have to decide if its smarter to go air or water. decisions decisions... start prepping!

if you really wanted to win you could use Carbon Nano Tubes and build a case that is also the heatsink :D

CNT have the same thermal conductivity as CBN and natural Diamond (2400w/m-K) about 6x better than Copper or Silver. Dont forget to use Graphene as your TIM and remove the CPU IHS to reduce overall system weight!
