This is what I'm doing daily. You know Sunday morning I was abusing the E8700 standing in my office only wearing my underwear. When my wife came in I asked here if she thinks my SPI 1M would be faster while clocking half naked compared to dressed. Well, she just rolled her eyes and left again. I thought I should do this naked next time and call her over! OVER!

hahaha you are just asking to get your ass kicked there  roflmao :D
i do have a question tho...
i love overclocking that's just one thing i can't give up doing but i don't understand how you guys can do it everyday and not get pissed cuz you got you max and it will not go any higher when you are looking at others and seeing they are flying around your shit box

Overclocking is about finding the limits of your hardware not the hardware of your peers. When you've spent countless hours with a particular set of hardware and have 100% confidence that it has been maxed out completely, theres no better feeling. Alot of times this follows continuous revelations of performance in steps, each step providing a feeling of success!
Sometimes we get caught up with what other people have or are doing with similar harddware rather than paying attention to the rewarding success's right in front of us.
You think you know or have maxed out your hardware? What about sub-timings? bus speed? variations in performance with multiplier adjustments, reference voltages? skew? pwm freqs? what combination of settings actually provides the most performance rather than pure mhz? Lots to do in finding 100% maxed out hardware.
Tinker'ers like RickSS really impress me
