earlier this week mbpro refunded be coz of dfi being out of stock...

today i got refunded coz of biostar not being in stock

now 3rd try ..is another biostar...hopefully no more refunds :D

i need 775...so many points to get :D

Just made an offer on a C26750 for 50 bucks

I have a a board and Q6600 on the way and an e6600 in the bull pen

I will keep an eye out on some of the sites I am on for ya .... what's the budget ?

I grabbed the ASus Rampage Formula and Q 6600 for $ 190.00
unfortunatly it is an x38 but figure I will give it a go ....

I have a UDR3P as back up if it is a POS .... but DDR3 ... :ohcrap:

its for e8xxx clocking...gb ep45t-usb3 doesn't have that gtl subsettings..like biostar.

budget 200$ or so..but right now..i'll wait and try the tpower if it arrives... i killed my last one...it was uber good..but didn't have ln2 back in the day....

Actually I think biostar is probably still really good. They just don't have a huge presence in the US market or the benching scene. There are some Taiwanese guys who pump out pretty good results on biostar hardware on AMD and Intel platforms. I guess benchers just go with what we are familiar with and is marketed the right way. Biostar doesn't spend alot of money on marketing.

That's about right for them.... it's amazing how well they hold value.

many (xtreme) tried the tpower i45...when it came out...i was still doing air then..sad

Right. The p45 boards were well known but I just don't think biostar is on many peoples top 3 brands when thinking about sub zero. Their P555's and amd 890 boards seem to be pretty good though.

MD, that's the going price for a REX.

I picked up a tpower i45 last year and it was very easy to OC and fun to learn to solder on. Couldn't find a CPU worthy of it and let it go for a song.

I've got an E8600 and a Pentium 945 I want to freeze on it. Maybe even the Q9450?
