Anyone on here got one ?? I do :D Thing is, I'm not sure I want to use it due to the PITA factor.
If anyone's used one, I'd love to hear feedback on this puppy cause I think it has some potential :cool3:
potential for some sick ram speeds  , and, some potential for bad ram slots
Watcha think?

IDK man. Rampots seem like such a hassle. Maybe if you were needing the extra edge to take a WR in 32m or something. Other than that, its one more pot and one more problem to deal with.

Nope.
I should have saved some pics of it on my rig, it works with any low profile ram

pics or its not true! its a joke..but yeah i'ld appreciate a photo of your setup
in reality the ddr3 for x58/p55 don't heat up so much...yes you can use the pot just on top their heat spreaders but not efficient and if you're pushing for 1.8-1.9v i prefer clamped down rams..

If you insulate using armaflex right and leave just the exact space (two thin strips) to fit above the ram it freezes down nicely.
Got all frosty till the ram slots got white and thick.

I was actually thinking of building up a block wall of eraser all around each stick, then insulating the pot with armaflex and/or frost king except for the 3 stripes where it will sit on top of the ram coolers.
Did you find any noticeable difference using the LN2 on your ram Jor ??

Yes your are on the money MadDog that's how I did it. I would just ad a little of dielectric grease on the ram pins (to be safe) you don't need much here, a little is a little.
You will gain some extra mhz needed to beat Nicksith for gold cups, but if you're aiming for less the difference is not that big. :good:

Vince's pot is great and it's nice to bolt down to doms if you have them. I was gonna get one until I realized that you can pretty much mount a tin cup on top of any RAM with flat topped heatsinks and get the same effect. You can mount anything to anything with a little ceramique, eraser, armaflex and creativity.
If I ever get everything else tuned right, I'm planning on slapping the Bloodrage LN2 pot on top of a stick or 2 of RAM to tighten timings for some AM3 runs.
