hey guys i just saw this on the bot :scared:
http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2010/04/12/new-socket-to-replace-lga1366-due-in-2011/1

this is saying that around sometime 2011 Q3 LGA1366 will be replaced, and will not be comparable with the LGA-B 1366 chips at all! also it said that the first chip that's coming out for it is gonna be a 8-core chip with HT

i think intel is in love with there HT lol

and when i was kinda drunk and dicking around on the internet during bible class i saw this new leaked from intel socket cpu type is called LGA-LS 1567:shock:there is not a lot information about it other than it is a new socket that's coming out soon

i think that will be the sandy bridge....

everything will be integrated including the video...just like the i5-661....

we will wait how it performs...

i'm more interested with 8core-16thread nehalem ex.... i'm just not sure if its for 1366...

oh if its socket 1567...then it will be good...more contacts for power :D

I can't wait. PCIE 3.0, more power, more cores, more fun.

but if everything is integrated then it'll just be a waste cuz we got nVidia unless you know nV combines with intel lol

yeah that 8 core 16HT is gonna be sWeEt!

We will just have to wait and see as other places rumor the Sandybridge to be 1356 socket. Here is what Wikipedia has to say on Sandybridge.

Well, if those projected performance increases a even in the ball park it will be worth the $$$ of getting all new gear. DOUBLE the FLOPS, FTW!
