Well everyone, I am writing to apologize for my lack of support towards the team lately. I have not posted any benchmarks in what seems "too long" for me. I haven't posted hardly, haven't really been around or anything at all. Just lurking to kinda stay in the loop.
I've had a lot going on lately. My mom is getting operated in about 8 hours from now, so that has had me a bit busy preparing since she'll be away for about a week between the operation and recuperation and stuff. Other than that I've been working a bit more as there was a mandatory department class by my companies president. So I've been staying ab it after hours and stuff setting up a PowerPoint Presentation. There's a few other things going on but those pretty much sum it up.
I did receive my PSU back from RMA so I can bench, but I also need some RAM, I only have 2GB of RAM on the i7 right now and the computer is running at a snails pace, I have no idea why. So before I attempt anything I think I will either install XP or go grab a nice set of 3X1GB RAM. So lot's of little factors along with the big ones are holding me back from any benching right now.
Hope you guys understand and I will be back soon, hopefully soon! :toast:

Thanks man. Hopefully once my mom is back she'll feel a lot better and things will be better around the house. That'll relieve me of a lot of stress. I'm hopefully getting a lot of things that are overdue on my car done which was holding me back from hardware big time. With those things behind me I can focus on getting some BOINTS then and going from there. In the meantime I'm sidelined :(

Hey David.. hope your Mom does well. I just sent off my supertalent 3GB kit for RMA.. (a heatspreader popped off and ripped all the ICs off with it). When it comes back.. if you still need ram.. If you can wait 2 weeks, hold off on purchase... I will shoot it to you to abuse :)
only 3gb kit.. but gets you up and running for real:)

We all will be here and waiting, though I dont believe in God but I hope she recuperates quickly and gets back to her commanding self (thats how my mom is, and thats how I look at all Moms, :p)......See personal passion and hobby should come much later in the order of preference/importance when compared to your family, job and health......

Don't sweat the small stuff bro .....
The bot is entertaiment and nothing more, it has no real world importance.
I am sure your mom will pull through with flying colors and things will soon return to normal in your life ...
When they do then you can have some fun with us all. The Bot is not going anywhere and will be here upon your return to action.
good luck

Could not agree more with the guys! Bench whenever you have time. Some of us have busy life's and kids etc. so there is not always time. I hope everything will goes OK with the surgery mate.

Take care of your mom, and get back to benching when you can.
The great thing about a great team is that you kick ass while you are able, then you can have faith that your teammates will be kicking ass while you have down time.
We cant all bench all the time, its just the nature of life (although imagine the points if we all could lol)
Best wishes to your mom!

Alright guys,
My mother is on her way to a healthy recovery. She's been home for almost a week or so now. She's doing much better. That has taken much stress off my shoulders and not only that but I got around to doing a few things to my car that were needed so I must say I feel much better now. :D
As far as my rig, I got my PSU back and it's good to go. I just need to setup my HDD's on my main rig so I can empty out the HDD on the bencher and go from there. However before I bench I need one more thing. I need a good 3x1GB RAM kit. If anybody can think of any let me know. I get paid in two days so I'll be ready then.

Good to hear your mom is back and doing OK again. As for the 3x1GB kit I used to have the 3x1GB Dominator GT kit and I loved it. I was able to do 920 @ 6-6-6-18. I still hate myself for selling it. I can't find this mem nowhere anymore.

Hey man, thanks a lot. Really appreciate your kindness bro. This is why the PC community and OCA in particular rock! However, I have spoken to Neuromancer and he is sending a 3x1GB kit when it arrives from RMA, depending on the price or what not I might even stay with it. I know you can get me a kit out ASAP but I won't be able to bench till I empty out the drive anyways. So that being said, I don't mind waiting till Neuromancer's arrive from RMA anyways as it might be the kit I'll end up keeping anyways :toast:
You have no idea how much I appreciate it though WD, I just can't get it across enough.

Thing is I can't bench yet, there is only 1.3 GB of free space on the HDD right now, even trying to get around windows is horrible. So far it's just crunching till I sort that out.

Alright guys
-Mom is almost there, recovery has been great, minor set back, but she's doing great now thank god
-already removed my RAID array and transferred all my stuff back
-Benchers HDD has been emptied, rig runs smooth now
-got the Tri Channel Kit from Neuromancer to try out
So what does this all mean? BENCHING TIME BITCHES!!!!!!!!!! I'll get around to it latest this weekend, I have some construction at home tomorrow so I won't be able to be using the rigs until I clean them out.
I just can't wait to be back, i've been lost and I miss benching. I already have my 2nd 5770 so I'll have a few cards to try out in 3D Benching.
