I was thinking that there is no reason for a RAM pot (my ram never needs anything more than to make sure there is some airflow around it)
But then when I saw the 3000 MHz DDR3 run was cooled with LN2.. I decided there is a reason for this after all :)

Lol yeah, everyone used to say, there is no need for ram cooling. just put a fan over them. Hell no, I want to get awesome mhz out of my ram.
Gonna pick up a pot like that in a while. looks smeckzy:D

Saw that the other day and thought it interesting. Then I saw myself putting eraser all over there DIMM coolers and covering the alternating slots so moisure wouldn't seep in... still may do it, but think it's gonna be a pita despite what the pic shows (don't think the pot had LN2 in it when the pic was snapped, more a kingpin advert I'm thinkin :) )

Nice of Vince to name this product after me, but....lol
Pointless IMO. When under LN2, your ram is hyper cooled already by radiant cold.
My modules are cold enough that they are condensating when I remove them after a session, I literally need to pack tissue in between the modules sometime, and I live in a dry place. Don't waste the funds dood.

Personally I think ln2 memory clocking has been and always will be done by pure memory addicts. Other than maybe pushing you over the edge for super pi, its not really gonna be worth it for any other bench. Plus its just another pot to control temps on....
