Results so far, 2104 7-8-7-19-59 b2b:3 1.65v(real 1.68v set) on air, cpu water
(Pardon the inefficient spi32m, no tweaks, loose subs)

We'll see how it runs with some cold on the cpu tonight or tomorrow :ohcrap:

Looks to be pretty sick Splig................ Nice

on eof these days I will have to see what my PS's can do

Absolutely sick looking!! I'm drooling over here. I got to get me a set of C7 ram!! If you get time, can you please run a tweaked up 32m at 4420mhz? If you could match my screeny in the LLC thread that would be awesome!! I just wanna see the efficiency of C7 @ 2100mhz+ :D

def will do bro, plan is to tweak it up for some 2.2mil efficiency atleast at 21x211-215 then just jack the cpu multi up to 25 and hit it with the cold so I will post the proper 32mn results tonight at 21x210.5

That will be awesome! You are at 2128049 right now and my C8 was 2155099. I'm sure your PP won't change much with a couple bclock, but still I like to compare apples to apples. Did I already say I need to get some hypers? :ohcrap:

you wazza? That was without maxmem or priority/affinity too. I will button her down :) What b2b do you use?

Yes that was with waza. I had a better score the night before but didn't catch a screenie. :( It was 8m 03.xxxs at 4420. The sub timings were all on auto too other than RTL's. I still got to figure out what these sticks like for subs at high freqs. As far as B2B, I don't use it. I have played with it, but never tested efficiency so I didn't use it for those runs.

2123547 wazza settings in pic, did not set affinity or priority or maxmem yet lol will do so now.

Would = 6m40s at 5300mhz though, pretty good

wow how much do thse things run? better yet where did yu get them?

thanks guys!

punx got them from corsair store, $200 a stick lol ridiculous I know.

chuch here is a proper run (minus sub timing tweaking and will try higher uncore)
2117793

priority high core 1
defrag, run 16k twice
wazza settings in pic
run

sorry for the OT spliggity, but how do you calculate efficiency?

Splave

no problem rev, seriously I didnt even know there was a way till about a year ago.

Say I run a 9m20.500s pi run at 4.251ghz

you make the time in seconds = 560.500s
you make the speed in mhz = 4251mhz

and you multiply them :)

sorry for the OT spliggity, but how do you calculate efficiency?

pi time in seconds x mhz = efficiency (performance product in some circles)

Sick run buddy!! Man if you can drop the efficiency 3k at high clocks, you can reach sub 6m 30s easy. The problem is keeping the efficiency at high clocks. Can you pull off 7-7-6-19 or 18 at those clocks?

thanks for the explanation dudes.

So what number do we target? Obviously the lower the better, but how do we determine if a run is efficient or not?

my latest personal record ends up as 2237927.838

7m 10.062s at 5194.9mhz

Splave

2.0mil-2.2mil are where you want to be, with a wazza and lsc you would be right in there man.

you can also determine approximate time, say your efficency was better like 2.12mil, at your speed 5194mhz you divide and get 408sec

Well crio's run he posted is a great example of efficiency, but probably not very likely at uber high clocks. I think the best i7 efficiency in top 10 for 32m is ~208xxxx. When i7 first came out ~2350000-2480000 was good, but I'd say ~2100000-2350000 at benching speeds would be signifigant for mere mortals.

Yep, and pretty good efficiency for W7 to boot!! Now try a small version of XP and watch the scores open up.

Does anybody know hexadecimal??? I got a registry tweak to try, but don't know hexadecimal.

ReverendMaynard

my run is on Win 7 64b, no tweaks. Laways had better results with it, even over a hacked up, wazza'd XP.

Splave

I think to eeck the last sec or 2 you need xp but win7 is pretty strong out of the gates.

I dont know hex, will try lowering some subs anyone know anything about them lol? I think some need to be 2x other values etc correct?

No need to delete. It's open info at xs. Just don't want to give away hard earned info in public ;) Hipro is da man. Most well rounded bencher in the world.
