I was looking through pictures of rigs I have made when I came upon these. Building this system took many days. I hate to recall how much time I spent putting all this together. The odd looking reservoir was a 2.5 gallon water bottle with about 2" of polyurethane foam insulation. My hope was to capture all world records.

Unfortunately, my new motherboard was DOA. :argh:

Test your motherboard before you add custom cooling. :ash1:

I hope this will help someone else avoid a similar situation.

Haha, that reservoir looks like a mutant pineapple!

I sent Steve a schematic of a pineapple and he found that it had peculiar coolant properties and created this thing :rofl


Excellent point on checking for doa mobo, gpus and the like before heading for the pineapple fields. :D
