Its not the checkboard or light blue screen but actual artifacts and freezing.
Is this temps or starving for more volts?

Settings 1080/1300 1.25v temps max 42c
1070/1300 1.23 temps max 38c passes

Card is collecting 30F air right from the window.

Prolly volts. You have a good card. Most of my cards do 1.25 for about 1100/1300 depending on the hieght of the cpu clocks. I did find that if you ramp up you cpu significantly, u need more voltage than 1.25 for the cards. I've talked to peeps that run 1.28 on cool air for 1000/1300.

Lets not forget what I call the "ATI Freak Out" at high cpu clocks.

we talking triangular artifacts splave? If they are, it's memory related. Read on XS that you can modify the memory volts via RBE now, so maybe that's worth a shot.

On 75f room temp I can only do 1026/1275 with 1.25 and I have ran benches for 2 days straight trying everything I can to get the clocks higher. Of course I prolly need to lower the mem a little and that might help. This weekend I am going to the garage to see what she will do on colder air as that is prolly my main problem, heat.

That'd be awesome if we can modify the mem volts via RBE. Any how/to links Rev?

just be wise about it lads, this can rape your card if you go too far.

As usual, back up your bios' with GPUZ first then play :)
