Hey guys.
Today I managed to shortcut my Asus Commando. So I will need a new LGA775 board for overclocking..
one at Ebay for a decent price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330395243845&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I'm thinking of picking up a new Asus Commando at Ebay, but I'm not 100% sure.
Anyone who could recommend me another LGA775? It needs to be a really good overclocker!! I only want top notch LGA775.
Cause I will really miss that motherboard. I care more for my Commando than Classified:p

I'm thinking the same. Thought no response from the seller yet, but seems like a nice dude. I've spoken with him once before, he sells a lot of Motherboards.
And I've already done volt mod at the Commando, so I should probably just pick it up.
And since I'm getting LN2 in a week or two, the Commando should be set for some 7ghz+ action.:)
I'm a bit worried about buying things at Ebay, I know there are reputation and stuff. But I really don't want to get scammed.

Buddy of mine (die hard air clocker) swears by the rampage extreme.
TBH I would think since you have a dewar coming you might want to go P45 to get those nice 6-700 FSB clocks ;)

I think he is using the board for Celeron and such. I don't think a P45 will work.

RE x48 is nice, but I don't know if I want to spend the money. Asus Commando is real fun, lots of overclockabillity.:)

word, you know the board well, probably best to keep with your experience. Hope it works out and you get to lay down the pwnage.

That's also a factor.:) I know it very well. So it's easy to pick one up and Vmod and then just throw it under the bench.

I'd love to go with E8600 for 01. But I already have a few cellys and p4.:) It's the best priced Commando I could get at this moment.
I just need to know if the seller got socket cap/cover, cause I don't want to get a screwed MoBo in the mail.

I'll need a good dual core board, soon. I picked up a E8700 from Dinsdale Hardware. It was shipped out this morning, so can't wait till I get it. Can't wait to try it out.
Maybe a EP45T-UD3, Biostar Tpower 45 or a rex...other solutions?

I've heard it should be good. And I'll die for trying it out...But seems like a pain in the arse to get it..
Found two of them in Taiwanese Ebay, but I can't understand a crap of that they say or cost..
Anyway, if anyone sees this motherboard for sale, please contact me. I want to try it out!

For what chips?
That means alot... p35 was not good at certain FSBs.. and if you are running a limited setup... going to have holes that you need to jump, much worse than 965 IIRC..
Might be a good one though, asus had a few top score with the 775 platform... wish more people spilled on hte submission forms so we could check out boards :)

Yeah, that is true for sure!
I've not seen much from this board, I'd really like to try it anyway:D I love rare and new hardware.

I was quite happy with my Biostar I45 mobo... Could do 650FSB on air and it even run a old 800FSB P4 D930 @ 5300Mhz under pelt cooling... Too bad i have to sell it now :/ im sure gonna miss it....
