Hello. I'm thinking of ordering a Dewar next paycheck, I'd like to hear more experienced people opinion.
I will have around 530 USD to spend on a Dewar, or will I just get a crap one that price? In Norway they have a insain price..
Since I'm not very hardcore, doubt I will need a 35L dewar, I want to bench once in a while. Have some fun, push my 775 and 1366 with some GPU's:) Mabye around 15L will be nice?
If anyone got one for sale, sure send me a PM.:)
If anyone have knowledge of Dewar that keeps the Ln2 for a while and easy in use.
Best Regards Kriztoffer.

They are very expensive for sure. I would keep an eye on ebay for a used one. Likely you will be better off with a 32l as that is about what you will use in a weekend session. Most that you will find at a reasonable price will require you to pour out instead of dispense. I found one some time ago for around $250.

I'm gonna say a dewar is like your pots. Go ahead and get the best. Otherwise, you end up spending more money in the long run.

I guess, but doubt I want any bigger than a 20L. It would suit me perfect. :)

There is a few 20L on ebay for $275 or so. Not sure they will send to Norway but it may be worth asking.

I will look into them. Hopefully the shipping won't be more than the price of the dewar... :p

Probably will though. How simple is getting transportation to the continent? Always heard how great Europes mass transit system is, not sure if that applies to ferrys or or whatever to make it up to scandanavia.
Might be worth taking a weekend if its not too expensive and grab a couple dewars from the continent if you find them cheap enough, and bring one home and sell it :)

I wouldn't underestimate the crazy addiction you will feel when you start running LN2.
A 20L will do fine for a nice smooth bench session but when you start pushing the fold....
and you will, you'll want at least another 20L.
A 35L is good for a one long ballz out session or 2 or 3 average sessions. If possible, I'd go with (2) 20 L containers to properly fill that void in your life ;)
