I honestly haven't messed much with it, but I did notice that my benchmarks are better than with Vista. I haven't ran Xp in a while so I can't tell you how it compares to XP.

I like every bit of it...... I will not look back once they are in every machine.....
Still.. A stripped down XP kills on a few 3dmarks.... Can't wait to see what a stripped down "7" does =]

Been using Win 7 from when it came out in TecNet and the Beta. Its very good so far but not without its problems.
I have odd and strange crashes with IE, sometimes it just goes away as not responding and I have to force quit it.
Still a few compatablity issues but over all not to bad.
I love how it installs and Nvidia drivers do not require a reboot.
Over all I give it a 9/10

For 24/7 rig, I am still running Vista. My play rig has XP and Mojave installed. I installed it only because I was told it bnches better, I do not actually have any proof of that. (Few tests I have tried RTM is slower than XP though, not by much but a little bit)

I gained about 300 points in vantage from vista 64 to 7 64.

I have been using it since it first came out, benching scores are a little short from XP, but definitely better than Vista. MS has finely got a good one here for a change.

I loved how I didn't have to load one driver except my GPU driver.

I was amazed when I only needed to install one driver for a P6T Deluxe V2 board. I don't recall which component the driver was for, but I really didn't have to have that driver to use the board. It was the simplest and quickest OS install I have ever done.
