If that is what you want then yes, you'll have to wait. The 5870X2 is not part of this launch, I believe I heard December for that card. But I sure hope I'm wrong. ;)

It is reported that the
5870 will be 26.65cm long same as the 4870x2
5850 same as the 4870 but
The 5870x2 will be 29.50cm long..I will have to mod the 5.25 drive brackets on the 343b case..29cm max!!!

I look forward to it!!!!

Yah would be nice if the put the PCIE power ports on the top of the card like some nvidia models, for people that still use cases :p

First 5870 review, google translated (http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?prev=hp&hl=en&js=y&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tomshw.it%2Fgraphic.php%3Fguide %3D20090923&sl=it&tl=en&history_state0=)

Interesting.

they used an Overclocked i7 965 for the comparison. Seems to do well.

does in fact seem to do very well, however, unless I missed it was that with Physx enabled? If so then the ATI did extremely well

No. physX was not enabled, they showed the CPU score and while there was some small variations they all landed in the same 25 thousand CPU score IIRc.

s**t, I'm just been lazy. I am off to bed now. However, i'm impressed with the performance of the card, not far off from a 295 in most test.
