How deep are you guys drilling you're temp probes? Are you drilling deep enough that it ends up center in the middle of the pot where it'll likely get the most accurate temps movements of the cpu/hs?

Just curious as I'm finally drilling out my hole.

AS deep as you need to have the full probe go into, maybe 1/8" or so.

Well, I was gonna shoot for deep enough to reach the center middle of the pot but wouldn't you know, broke 3 bits tryin, and didn't get very deep. Still, got the probe in the hole/w/ceramic.

Made a quick DICE run at 3:30am and I musta had a bad mount or something cuz bios read lowest temp of -24c while I dunno wtf was with the temp reader only being at -12c for the on pot temp probe.

Anyhoot, I've got a lots to learn bout i7 here but I was just too tired and called Eeeeetai at 5am.
